The most compatible cast ever, and probably the audience favorite of all the shows I did. Every performance was a joy.
Fortunately I'd done enough shows by this time to know how rare the experience was, and I tried to enjoy every minute of it.

Based on the 1945 Rogers & Hammerstein musical film, recreated in 1962 with Pat Boone and Ann-Margret, this stage adapatation ran for only three months on Broadway in 1996. I guess it was too retro for the hip '90s, but our community audiences loved it. On Broadway Kathryn Grant Crosby, second wife of Bing, played my role of Melissa Frake. She lives just up the road from Saratoga in the toney suburb of Hillsborough, and our enterprising director (who knows EVERYBODY) invited her to come to a performance; and she did!
